CYCLOPS LASER

Take on thicker plate

High-power fiber laser

A high-power fiber laser can help your shop bring thicker plate work in-house and move through common jobs faster. Start with the metal and thickness you cut most, then compare the listed cutting speeds.

Choose BRONTES for fast travel between cuts, TITAN for enclosed shuttle tables, or COLOSSUS for large plate. ARGES BEVEL adds angled weld prep to the cutting step.

Compare real cutting ranges

At 10 mm carbon steel, the chart lists 2-2.4 m/min at 6 kW and 6-6.5 m/min at 12 kW. Material, gas and setup affect the result.

Move quickly between cuts

BRONTES offers 6-40 kW. The 3015 model lists 4 G acceleration; the 4020 and 6020 models list 2.8 G.

Keep plate loading in step

TITAN pairs enclosed cutting with shuttle tables. The 4020, 6020 and 6525 models offer power up to 40 kW.

Make room for large parts

COLOSSUS offers 6-60 kW with straight-cut lengths of 12100, 16100 or 20100 mm. Separate ground rails support the gantry.

Cut the weld prep too

ARGES BEVEL offers 8-40 kW with head tilt up to ±45°. Cut Y, V, X and K bevels to reduce work at the grinder.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

How thick can a 6 kW fiber laser cut?+

The cut chart lists up to 30 mm carbon steel, 16 mm stainless steel and 16 mm aluminum at 6 kW. These are the thickest rows with a listed speed at that power. Choose daily working thickness from the speed and edge finish your job needs.

What thicknesses are listed for a 12 kW fiber laser?+

At 12 kW, the chart lists up to 40 mm carbon steel, 30 mm stainless steel and 25 mm aluminum. Speeds near the top of those ranges are lower than on thinner stock. Review the actual thickness row before sizing the machine.

Does 40 kW always cut thicker plate than 20 kW?+

The chart lists the same top thicknesses for 20, 30 and 40 kW: 50 mm carbon steel, 30 mm stainless steel and 30 mm aluminum. Higher power can improve listed speed at many thicknesses. It does not raise every chart limit or speed range.

Can I compare a 60 kW laser using this cut chart?+

The published cut chart ends at 40 kW, so it does not give 60 kW cutting speeds. COLOSSUS offers power up to 60 kW. Ask an engineer to review your plate work before selecting that power.

What warranty applies to high-power lasers?+

Lasers above 12 kW have a 3-year warranty, and lasers at 12 kW and below have a 2-year warranty. The chosen laser power sets which term applies. Engineers can help with installation and training.
